The  Expanding the Boundaries: Online Catalogs and Product Websites Based on iAuto/iRealty/iLister competition was open to everyone who is capable of generating an unusual idea to win our software to put it to practice.

There are two contests: Open and Closed. If you have no problems with sharing your idea with the public for the final vote, you should enter the Open contest, where ideas short-listed by us will be judged by the public and enter the draw for the grand, second and third prizes.

However, if you do not feel like sharing your brilliant idea with the rest of the world, you should enter the Closed contest. In it, ideas are short-listed and the prizes are awarded by the WFW staff. Further, we will give you a two-month head start before we publish (or not publish) any of the Closed contest ideas. You will have plenty of time to beat the competition.

There are identical prizes for both Closed and Open competitions (three prizes for the Closed Contest and three prizes for the Open Contest).

Everyone is invited to submit his/her ideas (with comments and thoughts) for the contest. The more details of the idea is described the more chances to win the prize you get. You have to mark your idea as Open or Closed Competition.
  • What counts during the vote: originality of the idea, clarity of the description and overall value of the idea.
  • Decisions on the winners are final, except for cases of violations of the rules and regulations of the contest.
  • The WorksForWeb team reserves the right to disqualify any entry or participant at its sole discretion.
  • The WorksForWeb team reserves the right to use any or all the ideas for marketing or commercial purposes without any restrictions.
  • One participant cannot post the same idea to the Closed Contest and to the Open Contest. More than one idea can be sent to Open, Closed (or both) contests by the same participant.

Timeline and Terms and Conditions for Open Competition

  •  The start date for the contest is Tuesday 23th September.
  • The closing date for entries will be 23:59 GMT Thursday 23th October.
  • Our company representatives will then review all entries and vote on a group of four finalists.
  • Everyone will then have a chance to vote for the most brilliant idea from the Open Competition finalists.
  • Open Competition finalists will be announced and the community vote will commence on 23:59 Monday 27th October.
  • Anyone willing to vote for the idea will be able to vote only once for their favorite idea.
  • Public vote will close 23:59 GMT Monday 3 November (extended up to 23:59 GMT Wednesday 5 November).
  • The idea(s) with the highest numbers of votes will be highlighted on our websites and all contact information of the authors will be displayed, if desired.
  • The winner will be announced at the official website at the beginning of November 2008.

  • The start date for the contest is Tuesday 23th September.
  • The closing date for entries will be 23:59 GMT Thursday 23th October.
  • WFW team will vote and select the winners of the Closed Competition
  • Closed Competition winner will be determined on 23:59 GMT Monday 3d November
  • The winner will be announced at the beginning of November 2008.
