You will need to pay attention to the level of support offered by the company. Particularly, check for 24/7 support, or if you are a phone person, make sure their phone support is always on. Tools like live chats are also very useful, especially when your tickets are not responded to quickly enough. Most offers are comparable with the likes of competitors as far as hardware, bandwidth and disk space are concerned. Therefore, one other key criterion will be compliance with our server requirements. You will need to send their sales or support departments the list of our requirements and obtain their confirmation that these requirements are fully supported. If you like everything, simply buy the one you like the most.

Pros: Good hosting offers, reasonable packages.

Cons: No IonCube for shared hosting accounts, no willingness from support to install IonCube based on customer requests. Won’t work with our software.

2. Lunarpages

Pros: Good company, fast and reliable support ticket support, good packages. Offers MySQL v.4, v.5.

Cons: Does not offer SSH for basic accounts, no livechat support, 9-5 Pacific time phone support.

3. godaddy.com

Pros: Inexpensive.

Cons: There are some difficulties with installation of our software on this hosting. Doesn’t have an archive extractor, non-cooperative support. No IonCube on some accounts plus certain restrictions on cheaper accounts.

4. Host Excellence

Pros: Hmmm...

Cons: Unreliable, slow and untrained support.

5. Yahoo

Pros: None.

Cons: Designed only for amateurs and static web pages. Won't work with our software.
