Featured Ads Slider
Today it is hard to imagine a website without interactive elements, including image sliders, on its front page. The Featured Ads Slider addon has been designed to accommodate a growing demand for an eye-catching way to display featured listings on both the front page or on any other page of a Worksforweb script-based website.
This addon augments dynamic elements already present in the current versions of WorksForWeb classified software. These elements are Image Carousel and Image Slide Show. The new module is designed for all our classified products of v.6.1.3 and above.
An Overview
The job of this addon is to display featured listings in a dynamic manner. The element may be integrated into the design both horizontally and vertically.
One of the key benefits of this addon is that a website owner can display a lot more featured ads in a limited space. Say, including a 6 listing-long block onto a page will allow all featured ads to be displayed via that block.
This means a neat, compact design and lots more money from Featured ads, as with this addon any featured ad buyer can be assured that his listing would be visible to pretty much every visitor.
Featured Ads Slider Settings
Admin can easily change settings via the admin panel. One of the options is to set listing scrolling direction. The first setting controls scrolling direction for a horizontal slider. It can scroll from right to left or vice versa. The admin can specify the width of visible listings on the horizontal slider via the “number of cols” parameter.
The second setting controls scrolling direction of a vertical slider. Scrolling can be set up to run listings from top down or in the opposite direction. The admin can set the number of rows via the relevant setting in the admin panel.
