PDF Export Addon

A PDF (Portable Document Format) file format is a commonly known and widely used data exchange format. It has gained immense popularity over the years because of a number of advantages PDF files have in terms of distribution of information.

Recognizing the needs of real estate professionals as well as car dealers, WorksForWeb introduced a PDF Export addon. This new addon allows exporting listing details and owner information into a PDF document.

A great advantage of PDF files is that they retain formatting regardless of the operating system or device that is used for opening or printing PDF documents. This gives website owners and visitors alike endless possibilities to use listing details in leaflets, booklets, handouts, rear window displays, etc.

The QR code with the link to the listing details page is included into the PDF file. Scanning the QR code will allow any passer-by to view the details about a car or a house advertised right on the website.

With the Mobile Frontend Addon installed, visiting listing details pages from an iPhone or an Android or Windows Phone device is even more convenient and fast, giving access to listing details for an additional audience, an affluent, tech-savvy, and mobile crowd.

Real estate pros can easily print out and/or email one or several brochures featuring selected listings to their prospects, or post them on public BB boards or hand out at community gatherings.

Car dealers can print out and tape vehicle information leaflets onto all cars for sale, and hand out brochures with great deals or reduced price cars to prospect customers. A weekly email newsletter using our free Mass Email Addon featuring hot new arrivals and current promo deals of the week can easily lift the sagging sales (if any) off the ground.

You may well be the only dealer in the area using hi-tech tools to promote your inventory with a few clicks of a mouse.

The PDF Export addon is available for all our products v.6.1.2 and above.

How It Works

This module has both front-end interface, and back-end admin tools.

This module has a built-in template that incorporates formatting and key data that should be displayed in a resulting PDF file. A website admin can edit and enhance the template by adding rich graphics, logos, text and formatting.

On a user side, any website visitor, when viewing a listing, can click the "Export to PDF" link on the Listing Details page menu to the right. This link allows provides you with a choice to open the exported file in a browser, or to save the file.

The back-end functionality provides additional functions. Like in the front-end area, every listing page on the admin panel has the “Export to PDF” link.

In addition to that, website owner can export more than one listing into a single PDF file. It is done by selecting several listings and exporting them in bulk via the "Actions with selected" interface into one PDF file.

When several ads are selected for export, the admin will receive one PDF file with a clickable table of contents and pages that contain all listings selected. There is also some basic editing functionality built into the System Settings page.

How to Get PDF Export Addon

This module is not part of a default WorksForWeb classified software. It is sold separately, and the cost of the PDF Export addon is only $50. Please go ahead and order your PDF Export Addon right away!!
