In this video we will show you how to manage users in your account.
First of all, learn how to add a new user and how to use the search users function. You can enter different information in order to filter your user search. You can search by username, email and user group. You can also search by membership plan. This will allow you to include into the search results the users subscribed to a certain membership plan.
Besides all the available membership plans there is an option which will pick out the users who have not subscribed yet or with an expired subscription. It is a great proactive tool to communicate with new users to encourage them to start using your website. You can search by registration date, which will select users registered in a certain date range, and you can also search by the user’s newsletter subscription status.
Inactive users are not able to log into the website. In case the email is lost or the user is unable to activate his or her account with the activation link, the administrator can activate this user manually by clicking the activate link. This link is displayed only for inactive users. For active users a deactivate link is displayed and clicking on it will make the user inactive.
Another is the send activation letter, which allows you to send a welcome email with an activation link to the users email. This link can be helpful if the user did not get the email sent to him or her automatically after registration.
And finally delete. This will allow you to delete the user from the site completely. All listings belonging to the user are deleted from the database.
