Yandex.Money Payment Gateway Addon

Yandex.Money is the one of the most widely used web payment systems in the Russian Federation and in many CIS countries. This payment processing gateway is designed as an intermediary to process payments for various goods and services.

A number of our CIS-based customers requested that a regional payment gateway be incorporated into our products. We chose Yandex.Money for its popularity and developed aa addon to integrate the Yandex.Money API with the following WorksForWeb classified scripts: iAuto, iRealty, iLister, iAuto Bikes, and iLister Pets. The Yandex.Money addon is available for all Worksforweb Classifieds software packages v.6.1.0 and above.

An Overview

This payment gateway is integrated specifically for Russian and CIS residents since the only currency it operates with is a Russian Ruble (RUR). Easily configured based on the inputs from your Yandex.Money account (see instructions below), it is a very secure system with multiple layers of protection of transaction data.

Configuration of the Yandex.Money Addon

In order to configure this addon and successfully use it to accept payments on your classified ad website, you should create a new account on the official Yandex.Money website - https://money.yandex.ru/ (or use an existing one) and add the application to the list of allowed websites that you can accept payments from.

This procedure is very straightforward. Just follow all the instructions and fill out the required fields. During the registration process, you will receive your personal account details to configure your Worksforweb Yandex.Money gateway.

Then you need to open your website admin panel and find a Payment Gateways page there.

You can configure this addon by entering all your personal Yandex.Money data in the corresponding fields.
