Open Contest Ideas 

1. Google Base Database Integration

My idea is that the iAuto software should have the ability, as an option, to search and post to the Google Base database also. This may seem counter intuitive to some but I have an automotive related website and want to add an area of used car search like the software you offer. However, my concern is that I will have trouble competing against the big sites. Who wants to spend time searching or listing on a site with a very limited inventory.

With the additional inventory I will have more users buying and selling. An additional idea would be to create a central database that all iAuto sites could post to. When someone from my site does a search the results would display all entries without indication that they were not originally posted at my site. All iAuto customers would benefit from having a larger inventory of vehicles.

2. SMS capabilities

For iAuto an iRealty include SMS capabilities, where users can send SMS to property owners or car owners asking short questions.

4. Classified Business directory

The business catalog in the Service Providers section For iAuto and iRealty should be redesigned to include a Classified Business directory (yahoo like). Another option is to include capabilities to create such a directory.

5. Link Exchange Program

Hi, iLister can be used as a good script to handle link exchange programs. Most sites have a page where 3rd party links are located broken down into categories. By installing iLister into a subcategory and by letting website visitors register, they can add their links and descriptions to appropriate link categories.

6. Travel Agency Website

Hello, I would like to run a travel agency web-site on irealty. It is a good software that I think will help me with that. The editor will help me create pages of web-site and individual tour descriptions, and sorting tours by countries/locations/price will let my customers choose the best tour for their money. Videos and pics are good tools to show the best of tours we can offer. I can use a third party forum or an online community service to share customer feedback and maintain the community.

7.  Car Pool Database

My idea is to transform iLister to a car pool partner search database for counties or metropolitan areas (Orange County, Fl or New York City for instance). Members can either offer people to travel with you from your area to your place of work and back, or join the existing car pool that already runs a route. I don't think customizing iLister will take much time. Great software, BTW, way to go guys!

8. Spare Parts Online Store

Thanks for your great contest, hope I win the grand prize:-). Think I can use iLister to run an online catalog of spare parts and accessories, like performance parts catalog, decals, rims, custom lights, aftermarket stuff, etc. Doesn't need any mods, just change categories, add subcategories, add shopping cart code (like you have on your dolls website). How do I collect my #1 mega prize?

9. Can I Sell Software?

Just curious if you can transform IAuto, IReality or ILister to sell software? Ads can belong to one of the categorys, and either the site owner or customers can place ads with software descriptions, company profiles, other products, links to download locations, etc. IReality has star ratings that will come handy. I still need to study your products to see whichever is better for this purpose.

11. Pet/Exotic Animals Website

Hi, My hobby is to collect exotic insect pets (tarantulas, millipedes, etc), and I would be very interested in exchanging my idea of running an exotic insect classifieds community for a free iLister license. There is a number of categories to display on the website, from scorpions and spiders to cage and supplies manufacturers, books and collectible items to trade, sell or buy. Another thing that I will add is a classifieds section of suppliers and manufacturers, with lots of banners and special offers from various businesses that can make the site livelier and more popular among the collectors (similar to http://market.insecthobbyist.com/).

12. Plumbing Service Provider Directory

Hi, Inspired by the Joe the Plumber debate that is all over the news regarding the ongoing presidential campaign, I would love to run a plumbing service provider directory. I think ILister will be the best for the job 'cause it's the quickest to customize of all your products. If I find sponsors, I'm sure I'll be able to create a pretty popular site that would list plumbers by state or county. 13. Automotive T-Shirts for Sale

I absolutely love the idea of setting up an iAuto-based website to sell automotive collectible T-shirts. You already have the automotive templates that are great. I can edit them a bit and use the make/model database to sell tee's that have the make/model logo/pic or whatever, with a cool slogan across the t-shirt. There should also be an order form to place custom orders (or something like a T-Shirt Wanted area or ad type), upload pictures for the tees, and delivery/payment info. Can I integrate the Paypal Buy Now buttons there?

14. Green Scooters

Tired of overpaying for petrol? Switch to an eco-friendly mode of transport, electric scooters and bikes! There are very few decent electric bike classifieds sites in Europe, most sites are simple link farms. I hope to change this situation and create a full electric bike classifieds, with bikes/scooters for sale and bike/scooters wanted. Bike/scooter rental can be the third category.

Your multi-language capability is great for Europe. I am thinking about a UK-based site first, and then expanding across the English Channel over to Benelux, as they have looooots of bikes and scooters! If I win your free license, I'll definitely buy several more to cover local markets.

Looking for a good deal on the licenses.
