Responsive Templates in v.7.0 of All WorksForWeb Classified Scripts
We, at WorksForWeb, are proud to introduce the advanced versions of our classified software. We have produced new versions 7.0 for iRealty, iAuto and iLister.
New Responsive Template Themes
Our developers created new themes for iLister, iAuto, and iRealty based on responsive web design technology to address multiple customer requests. The new design of the entire theme was developed with flexibility in mind, allowing the screen content to change according to viewer’s screen resolution (from mobile phones to desktop computer monitors). Cute, clean, and modern page layouts, easy navigation, and unmatched user experience are all the things that the new template technology brings to website owners. In addition to the front-end, we also revamped the admin panel completely, making it fully responsive as well.
Multiple Image Upload
To make our classified software products more user-friendly, we increased a number of pictures that could be uploaded at once when adding or editing a listing.
Currency Converter Improved
We thoroughly modified the currency converter module, enabiling on-the-spot recalculation of prices to a chosen currency without reloading the whole page.
The Advanced Search Form Improved
We created a special section in the admin panel that gives us tools to configure what the advanced search form should display. Customize it to your liking or your business needs because you know better how your customers are searching for stuff that is on your website.
Migrating from Google OpenID2.0 to OAuth2.0
Google has deprecated OpenID 2.0, and will retire it on January 1, 2017. We replaced this technology with one of the new technologies in authentication and authorization, OAuth v.2.0.
Multilist, a New Data Type
Our developers implemented a number of very elegant solutions to improve and simplify the display of listing data on the listing details page. First of all, all of our fields are displayed automatically on the listing details page, and in order to move fields around and arrange them, you will have to arrange them in the admin area first, and they will appear in proper order on the front end. No more tedious template modifications every time you add or delete a field – these fields will be shown automatically. The Multilist will allow you to quickly arrange multiple parameter Boolean fields (like Property Details in iRealty), and display them right.
Ability to Add and Replace a Favicon
We added a new setting to add/manage your favicon (a small pic that goes into your browser tab) from the admin area.
Adding Multiple Categories At Once
For the convenience of the users, we introduced the ability to add multiple categories at once in the admin area.
Simplified the YouTube Video Setting
Earlier, to add a YouTube video to a listing, the listing owner had to enter a specific video ID (like WZ_fYR89zo0 for example). This confused some people, and to make it simpler, users can add either a video ID or a video URL.
Bye-Bye, iAuto Orange Theme
It served our customers well for a long time, but it is time for it to go. We shall no longer offer or support iAuto Orange Theme in this or subsequent releases.
Bugfixes in the Android App
The Android App, while doing its job awesomely well, had a couple of glitches (far less than in iOS 8.0.1 though:), and we fixed them. Minor enhancements and bugfixes – as always, lots of things have been changed, we redesigned a lot of interface elements, but writing a poem about every single one would take up too much time.
